Headful of Static and Bad Wisdom

Well, not quite static – A Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-la-la Band on the headphones, and a lunch spent sitting in the sun by the lake in Battersea Park, reading Drummond and Manning’s classic (Bad Wisdom, obv.). It’s a beautiful thing, watching their prose stylings mesh and syncopate. With any luck, there will be new West Wing DVDs waiting for me when I get home tonight, and pleasant and relaxing time will be had by all.

You don’t mean the one he did Thursday last week, do you? I missed it, owing to being dead of pox, but a few of my mates went along, and I’m told it was a bit of a train-wreck, as Manning was pretty clearly out of it, and not really interesting in doing a reading, and no-one had any good questions.

  3. On the other hand, you’ve given me your cold, so I’m going to have to kill you, which could prevent you from enjoying those DVDs.
