God, I am so sick of feeling tense. Not stressed, just physically tense, especially across my shoulders and back. I have no idea as to why I’m tense across there, but I’ve been like this for the last few days, and it’s really beginning to get to me. I just can’t seem to relax them. Anyone got any suggestions?

It’s a bright blue sky in November and it’s cold. The sun is shining off the Thames. I’ve just been out in this brilliant, clear air to buy myself an apple, which is just fucking delicious. The CD with this song on it should have arrived at my flat this morning. I love this time of year. It feels like anything could happen.

“Come on what’s-your-name

I’ve got a good game

I’ve got a story

Hope you like ’em gory

And it’s much too late for bed

Come on tiger why so tired

I’ve got good game plus i’ll let you win again

And it’s much too late for bed” – Tanya Donelly, “Lantern”

Good weekend. Brother’s 21st on Saturday. Drunkeness. Sunday – Spitalfields, Princelet Street, Vietnamese food and Jack the Ripper. Loads of fun.

My co-worker has put on a CD he bought in New Zealand, that you don’t seem to able to get in the UK. Frank Bennett is a lounge singer, among other things. His covers of Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand” and Radiohead’s “Creep” are just mindblowingly fantastic.

Why isn’t there a UK equivalent of Think Geek? I’d spend a fucking fortune there – on Water Joe if nothing else. I’ve been hunting high and low for a product like that – cold, no sugar, caffeine, not carbonated and pleasant tasting (or at least flavourless). Anyone know anywhere I can get it in the UK?

Remeber Wil Wheaton? The guy who played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation? Yeah, the really fucking nippy kid that everyone hated. Well, old news, but new to me, but he’s got a blog. And despite going there prepared for the worst, I discover that he’s actually pretty funny and switched on. Go take a look.

It’s been a good couple of days. Yesterday, I finally started to get my head around writing Object Oriented code in PHP, and have sucessfully applied it both at work and on the (still coming soon) Electricana. I have sorted out new hosting for my rain-street.org domain, so that should be back in the next week or so, I have bought the new Aphex Twin CD (and an old Big Black CD), and best of all, I have just taken a stroll down by the Thames on a bright, sunny and cool autumn day.
