Good weekend. Brother’s 21st on Saturday. Drunkeness. Sunday – Spitalfields, Princelet Street, Vietnamese food and Jack the Ripper. Loads of fun.

My co-worker has put on a CD he bought in New Zealand, that you don’t seem to able to get in the UK. Frank Bennett is a lounge singer, among other things. His covers of Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand” and Radiohead’s “Creep” are just mindblowingly fantastic.
Why isn’t there a UK equivalent of Think Geek? I’d spend a fucking fortune there – on Water Joe if nothing else. I’ve been hunting high and low for a product like that – cold, no sugar, caffeine, not carbonated and pleasant tasting (or at least flavourless). Anyone know anywhere I can get it in the UK?
Remeber Wil Wheaton? The guy who played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation? Yeah, the really fucking nippy kid that everyone hated. Well, old news, but new to me, but he’s got a blog. And despite going there prepared for the worst, I discover that he’s actually pretty funny and switched on. Go take a look.
Rain Street is back up and running. Which means that They Fight Crime! is working again as well. So sod off and use it.

It’s been a good couple of days. Yesterday, I finally started to get my head around writing Object Oriented code in PHP, and have sucessfully applied it both at work and on the (still coming soon) Electricana. I have sorted out new hosting for my rain-street.org domain, so that should be back in the next week or so, I have bought the new Aphex Twin CD (and an old Big Black CD), and best of all, I have just taken a stroll down by the Thames on a bright, sunny and cool autumn day.
Making A Monkey Out Of Me
Doing the Animal In You survey, I dicover that I’m either a Penguin, a Bison or possibly a Gorilla. Why am I compelled do these tests?
Progress
Last night, I jogged well over two miles, and then cycled a further five. Today, I feel absolutely fine and dandy. Six months ago, I couldn’t run 100 yards for the bus.

Good Thing: My tickets to see Kodo Drummers in November have arrived. Kodo Drummers are very very good.
Bad Thing: My e-mail is fucked. I am prevented from collecting it from my mailserver. My e-mail is very very bad.
